Because <a href="http://www.webupd8.org/2013/05/linux-mint-15-olivia-available-for.html">Linux Mint 15</a> ships with a custom "add-apt-repository" command, it took a bit more to get Y PPA Manager to work with it, but all should be working now. How To List Packages From A PPA / Repository In Ubuntu

<div style="text-align: justify;">A few weeks ago, we saw how to find out <a href="http://www.webupd8.org/2012/11/how-to-find-out-to-which-ppa-repository.html">to which PPA / repository a package belongs to</a> in Ubuntu / Debian. But how about getting a list of packages available in a PPA / repository?</div><br /><br /><a name='more'></a><br /><br /><h3>Synaptic</h3><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">To get a list of packages available in a PPA / repository enabled on your system (if the repository is disabled or not added on your system, it won't show up here), firstly install Synaptic if you haven't already:</div><br /><pre class="linux-code"><code>sudo apt-get install synaptic</code></pre><br />(or install <a href="http://www.webupd8.org/2012/12/how-to-install-synaptic-with-gtk3.html">Synaptic GTK3</a>)<br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Then <b>open Synaptic, select "Origin" on the bottom left, then select a PPA or repository on the left and it should list all packages in that PPA / repository for your Ubuntu version, both installed and not installed:</b></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.netupd8.com/synaptic-origin.png" rel="image_group" title="List packages in repositories with Synaptic"><img alt="Synaptic origin" src="http://img.netupd8.com/synaptic-origin_thumb.png" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">In the latest Synaptic built with GTK3, there are two entries for each PPA here, one that uses "/now" at the end, which displays the packages you've installed from a repository and another one which displays all the packages available in that repository.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Important:</b> if the exact same package (including the package version) exists in two or more PPAs / repositories, it will only be listed for one repository entry in Synaptic. It doesn't work with regular repositories (just Launchpad PPAs) though and the PPA needs to be enabled on your system for this to work. Install PPA-Purge With Multi-Arch Support In Ubuntu

<div style="text-align: justify;"><b>The ppa-purge package available in the official Ubuntu repositories is not multi-arch aware</b>, so purging PPAs like <a href="https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa">xorg-edgers</a> or <a href="https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/gnome3">gnome3</a> doesn't work correctly on 64bit systems.</div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">A few hours ago, thanks to Tim Lunn's work, <b>a branch that adds multiarch support has been merged into the main ppa-purge branch, fixing this <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ppa-purge/+bug/892886">bug</a></b>. The fix should be available in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail soon, but I don't know if it will be backported for older Ubuntu versions so to make this fix available for Ubuntu 12.10 and 12.04 users, <b>I've uploaded the latest ppa-purge</b> from BZR <b>to the main WebUpd8 PPA</b>.</div><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">For those not familiar with PPA Purge, this is a <b>command line tool that downgrades all the packages installed from a PPA to the versions available in the official Ubuntu repositories</b>. </div><br /><a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">As an example, if you've added the GNOME 3 PPA, using "sudo ppa-purge ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3" in Ubuntu 12.10 will downgrade GNOME Control Center from version 3.6.3 (which is currently available in the PPA) to the 3.4.2 version (which is available in the official Ubuntu 12.10 repositories); PPA Purge will do this for all the packages available in that PPA like Nautilus, Totem and so on, which are installed on your system.
