By looking at the package changelog, it seems this has been under internal testing since October, 2012.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><s>In my test, I was unable to use the Intel Linux Graphics Installer tool to upgrade the Intel graphics drivers under Ubuntu 12.10 64bit due to some <b>issues with multiarch dependencies</b> and it seems this affects <a href="http://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comments/19ye57/intel_linux_graphics_installer/">other users</a> too (this shouldn't occur on 32bit, however, I was unable to test in on 32bit since this doesn't work in VirtualBox). Hopefully, this will be fixed soon. Unfortunately, this means <b>I can't fully test the Intel Linux Graphics Installer for now</b> so I can't tell you if everything works properly after the driver upgrade so, <b>especially if you're on 64bit, you should wait and not install this yet.</b> <b>I'll post a new article when this is fixed</b></s> <b>Update:</b> these issues seem fixed now and after an update, everything works as expected on my Ubuntu 12.10 64bit machine. Still, use this with care (quote from the installer download page):</div><br /><blockquote>Attempting to "force" package upgrades may break your OS installation, requiring a re-install or other time-intensive remedies (requiring a high level of expertise). However, I'm not sure if that's a good idea since users will probably look for the restart option in the Session Indicator menu.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Also, one thing that I've found annoying in my test is that you <s>can't close the dialogs using the Esc key which, given its design (similar for instance with the lightbox image viewer used on many websites, including on WebUpd8), I would have expected to work</s>. The news doesn't come from Canonical so I'm not sure how legit this is, but from a <a href="http://www.ubuntutablet.com.au/">website</a> that advertises "Intermatrix U7 and U10 Ubuntu Tablets" as the world's first Ubuntu tablets.</b></div><br /><a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">Enthusiasts can already pre-oder the Intermatrix U7 (with U10 probably to follow soon), for which the price has currently been set to AU$269 (around US$275 or €210), including shipping costs, and it appears to be available world-wide (any country DHL can ship to). The price may change in the future, but those who pre-order it now won't have to pay more if the price will increase and will get a refund if the final price will be lower. There's also a 10% discount for the first 50 customers, limited to 1 discount per unity/customer.</div><br /><br /><h2>Intermatrix U7 Ubuntu Touch tablet Specifications</h2><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The Intermatrix U7 Ubuntu tablet will use Ubuntu Touch by default and should weight about 110 grams. Terra Terminal Update Brings Improved Stability, New Features

<div style="text-align: justify;"><b><a href="https://launchpad.net/terra">Terra</a>, a Python / GTK3 drop-down terminal emulator, has been updated today, bringing more stability as well as some new features.</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Terra looks like a combination of <a href="http://guake.org/">Guake</a> and <a href="https://launchpad.net/terminator">Terminator</a> so you can get a nice Quake-like drop-down terminal with <b>terminal split views</b> (multiple terminals in one window / tab) and more. Also, Terra Terminal now remembers open tabs, including tab names, and restores them on startup.
