HTCis preparing a mid-range cousin of its recently launched HTC One smartphone.
Dubbed as 606w,the phone was spotted on Chinese telecom equipment certification centersite.
The phone does not really take any design cues from the HTC One apart from the front stereo speakers.
As per the filing on the site,HTC 606w will be powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor of unknown make.
It will run on Android 4.1.2 and sports a 4.5-inch qHD display.
Other features of the phone will include1GB of RAM, 8MPrear camera, and a 1.6MP front camera.
There is no word on when we can see the launch of HTC606w or whether it will be released outside China.
