After launching the One which will compete against the upcoming Galaxy S 4, HTC now seems to be taking on the South Korean company at the mid-range segment. After launching phones like the Desire Q, Desire P and the Desire L, a report on Chinese blog Weibo now claims that HTC is developing another mid- range phone currently only known as the HTC 608t.
The upcoming HTC 608t is reported to sport a 4.5-inch qHD (960x540 pixels) display and will likely be powered by a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Other features expected to be included on the phone are an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel camera at the front, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio and will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped in the HTC Sense 5.0 UI.
Besides these bare minimum specifications, not much is known about the upcoming phone. It isn’t even clear at the moment if or at what price the Taiwanese company will eventually launch this phone in India.
